Every Special Child LLC. in Leetsdale is seeking a compassionate School Psychologist to support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral wellbeing. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, providing individual and group counseling, and collaborating with teachers and families. The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in a relevant field and valid certification as a School Psychologist. A commitment to confidentiality and student-centered care is essential. Qualifications
Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist as required by local/state regulations.
Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or educational setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, counseling techniques, and intervention strategies.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and student-centered care.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychological, behavioral, and educational assessments for students.
Identify learning, developmental, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
Provide individual and group counseling to students.
Support students dealing with anxiety, stress, trauma, bullying, and social-emotional concerns.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to design effective intervention strategies.
Participate in the development and review of IEPs and other student support plans.
Assist in crisis intervention and student mental health support.
Develop behavior management plans and monitor student progress.
Promote positive mental health and wellbeing programs across the school community.
Education
Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or related field
