Job summary

Sunnyside USD 12 is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to coordinate referral, evaluation, and placement for students with special education needs under IDEA. You will work with parents, teachers, therapists and outside agencies to ensure coordinated supports.

Required: Master’s in School Psychology, AZ PreK–12 School Psychologist certificate, and experience evaluating school-age children. Preferred: NCSP and AZ license.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in School Psychology or closely related field.
• Experience evaluating school-age children.
• Arizona PreK-12 certification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of IDEA/ADA and related policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates referral, comprehensive evaluation, and placement for qualified students.
• Conducts child study meetings to determine evaluation needs.
• Writes psycho-educational evaluations and MET reports.
• Interacts with parents, teachers, and outside agencies to plan supports.
• Supervises interns/practicum students and participates in team meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
