Perkins is seeking a School Psychologist to join the Deafblind Program in Watertown. You will provide individual and group counseling, conduct psycho-diagnostic evaluations, and design behavioral supports for students who are blind, visually impaired, Deafblind, or multiply impaired.

Join a collaborative interdisciplinary team with opportunities for field leadership, mentorship of interns, and active participation in IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Delivery of individual and group psychotherapeutic counseling.
• Perform specialized psycho-diagnostic evaluations.
• Design behavioral supports for students who are blind, visually impaired, Deafblind, or multiply impaired.

Responsibilities

• Direct Clinical Care & Student Support through counseling and crisis intervention.
• Behavior design and family collaboration to ensure wrap-around support.
• Active participation in admissions screenings, triennial evaluations, and IEP meetings.
• Mentor undergraduate and graduate interns, adapt assessment tools, and contribute to research and conferences.
