Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is recruiting licensed school psychologists to support two Illinois campuses on a full contract basis for the academic year. You will conduct psychoeducational evaluations, develop and revise IEPs, and deliver counseling and consultative services to students and families.

You will join a collaborative team, participate in multidisciplinary meetings, and help implement educational planning, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid certification or licensure in school psychology.
• Experience with K–8 students and IEP processes.
• Knowledge of special education law and evaluation techniques.
• Strong communication and collaboration with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to varied learning needs.

Responsibilities

Make a meaningful impact by supporting students and staff throughout the academic year in a dynamic contract position. We are seeking dedicated professionals skilled in school psychology to provide comprehensive services within a collaborative educational environment.

Your expertise will benefit two school communities: a middle school with 123 students with IEPs and an elementary school serving 102 students with IEPs. As an integral part of the support team, you will play a crucial role in helping students thrive both academically and emotionally.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification or licensure in school psychology
• Experience working with K–8 student populations and IEP processes
• Strong understanding of special education law and evaluation techniques
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to varied learning needs
