Job summary

BlueCloud Staffing in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a student-centered district. You will deliver comprehensive psychology services including evaluations, interventions, and consultation to support academic, social, and emotional development.

Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement IEPs and evidence-based behavioral interventions, provide individual and group counseling, and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
• Current PA School Psychologist certification or eligibility.
• Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and behavioral interventions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations to determine students’ strengths, challenges, and eligibility for special education services.
• Participate actively in the development, review, and implementation of IEPs and behavior intervention plans in collaboration with teachers and support staff.
• Provide individual and small group counseling to address students’ academic, social, and emotional needs.
• Consult and collaborate with educators, support staff, parents, and community resources to design and implement effective interventions.
• Support crisis intervention efforts and provide recommendations for prevention and response strategies to ensure student safety and well-being.
• Assist school teams in developing data-driven strategies to enhance overall school climate and improve student outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with all applicable laws and district policies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices in school psychology.
