Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate School Psychologist to support students across K through 12 settings in Santa Rosa, California for the 2026 to 2027 school year. This role focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services in a school setting, including assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educational teams. The ideal candidate is experienced in psychoeducational evaluations, IEP development, and supporting student mental health and academic success.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations for students across grade levels
• Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for educational planning
• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs IEPs and 504 Plans
• Provide counseling, behavioral interventions, and mental health support services
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and student support teams
• Support MTSS and RTI frameworks through data driven decision making
• Assist in developing behavior intervention plans and crisis support strategies

Minimum Qualifications

• Masters or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology
• Valid California Pupil Personnel Services PPS Credential in School Psychology
• Experience working with K through 12 students in a school setting
• Knowledge of special education law, IDEA compliance, and IEP processes
• Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting diverse student populations across multiple grade levels
• Familiarity with MTSS, RTI, and evidence based intervention strategies
• Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and writing behavior plans
• Background in counseling and school based mental health services
• Bilingual skills are a plus
