Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Psychologist to provide on-site psychological services in Middletown, RI, supporting students with mental health and developmental needs and assisting in qualifying for additional supports.

The contract–part time position requires RI licensure, pediatric experience, and current CPR/health certifications as applicable. The role is 30 hours per week at $65 per hour with weekly pay and benefits where eligible.

Qualifications

• Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment
• Experience in pediatric and adolescent population is preferred
• Master’s degree in psychology preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health and developmental issues and aids in qualifying students for additional support services. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district.
