Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Psychologist to support students in Massapequa, NY on a part-time contract. The role provides on-site psychological services within a school setting, helping identify student needs and coordinating access to appropriate support.

The position requires a current state license, pediatric/adolescent experience, and a Master’s degree in psychology; CPR may be required depending on contract terms.

Qualifications

• Must maintain current State licenses and certifications in state of assignment.
• Experience in pediatric and adolescent population is preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health and developmental issues and aids in qualifying students for additional support services. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district.
