Job summary

Qualifications

  • Master's, specialist, or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Current NH School Psychologist license or eligibility.
  • Strong report writing and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations.
  • Administer and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and other appropriate assessments.
  • Prepare clear and comprehensive evaluation reports.
  • Participate in eligibility determination, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Provide recommendations based on assessment results.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, special education professionals, and related service providers.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions.
  • Support FBAs and behavior intervention planning when appropriate.
  • Provide consultation regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs within the school environment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, reports, and student records.
  • Ensure services are delivered in accordance with NH requirements.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative School Psychologist to provide school-based psychological services to students in New Hampshire.

The School Psychologist will work closely with students, families, teachers, administrators, special education staff, and other related service providers to support students' academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs.

Candidates must hold the appropriate New Hampshire School Psychologist license/credential, or be eligible to obtain the required New Hampshire credential prior to beginning the position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations.
  • Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and other appropriate assessments.
  • Prepare clear and comprehensive evaluation reports.
  • Participate in eligibility determination, Individualized Education Program (IEP), and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Provide recommendations based on assessment results and student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, special education professionals, and related service providers.

  • Support Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and behavior intervention planning when appropriate.
  • Provide consultation regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs within the school environment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, reports, and student records.
  • Ensure services are delivered in accordance with applicable New Hampshire Department of Education requirements and state and federal special education regulations.
Qualifications
  • Master's, specialist-level, or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an appropriate school psychology program.
  • Current New Hampshire School Psychologist license/credential required, or eligibility to obtain the required New Hampshire credential prior to the start of employment.
  • Knowledge of psychoeducational assessment and interpretation.
  • Knowledge of special education eligibility requirements and the IEP process.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with school teams, students, and families.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Commitment to providing student-centered, evidence-based school psychological services.
