Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas is seeking a School Psychologist to assess and address students’ psychological and educational needs. You will conduct evaluations, communicate findings to parents and districts, and collaborate with ARD to design effective interventions.

You will provide therapy per IEPs, monitor progress with detailed records, and support families and school teams in a compassionate, data-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited School Psychology program.
• Active license to practice as a School Psychologist in Texas.
• Internship completed in School Psychology.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Psychological and/or Psycho-Educational evaluations to determine eligibility for services.
• Review evaluation results with parents and district personnel, providing clear guidance.
• Collaborate with ARD committee to design targeted, evidence-based interventions.
• Deliver therapy services as outlined in students’ IEPs.
• Maintain accurate records and adjust interventions based on progress.
• Participate in ARD meetings and parent conferences to advocate for students.

Your Role:

As aSchool Psychologist, you’ll be instrumental in assessing and addressing students’ psychological and educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:

Conduct Evaluations: Perform Psychological and/or Psycho-Educational evaluations to determine students’ eligibility for specialized services.

Communicate Findings: Review evaluation results with parents and district personnel, offering clear and compassionate guidance.

Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to design targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.

Provide Therapy:Deliver therapy services as outlined in students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Monitor Progress:Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.

Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other discussions to advocate for and support students’ needs.
