Job summary

Amergis, formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing, seeks a School Psychologist to provide on-site psychological services for students in school settings under state and district jurisdiction. The role includes supporting mental health and developmental needs and assisting in qualifying students for additional services.

The position requires current state licensure, experience with pediatric populations, and adherence to professional standards.

Qualifications

• Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment.
• Experience in pediatric and adolescent population preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Job description

The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health and developmental issues and aids in qualifying students for additional support services. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment

• Experience in pediatric and adolescent population is preferred

• Master’s degree in psychology preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
