Job summary

Soliant Health seeks a contract school psychologist to deliver comprehensive psychological services across assigned districts near Chattanooga, TN. You will conduct psychoeducational evaluations, assist with IEPs, and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s, Ed.S., or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Tennessee School Psychologist licensure or eligibility required.
• Experience in school settings preferred.

• Prepare evaluation reports in compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and state guidelines.

Job description

A contract school psychologist is needed to provide comprehensive psychological services across assigned school sites for a district near Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role supports student academic success, behavioral development, and social-emotional wellbeing through assessment, consultation, and intervention services in collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Candidates must have aMaster’s, Education Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field. A validTennessee School Psychologist licensure or eligibility for licensure is required.Chattanooga offers access to outdoor recreation, moderate commute times, a growing downtown and cultural scene, and family-friendly atmosphere.

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral functioning
• Complete evaluation reports in compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and Tennessee state guidelines
• Participate in eligibility determination meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
• Provide data-driven recommendations for interventions and educational planning
• Support Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student needs
• Assist with functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Provide crisis response support and participate in school-based threat assessments as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services rendered
• Ensure ethical and professional practice consistent with NASP standards
