Job summary

Stellar Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for our Athens, TN-based school-based team. The role provides psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and intervention services to promote student academic, social, and emotional success.

You will collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement IEPs and develop strategies addressing academic, behavioral, and emotional needs while maintaining proper documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Active School Psychologist license/certification in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain before start date).
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments.
• Develop and assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide direct counseling and intervention services as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student well-being and learning.
• Assist in developing strategies for academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.
