Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a School Psychologist for Algonquin, IL for the 26/27 school year. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations of cognitive, emotional, adaptive, and behavioral functioning and support IEP/504 processes.

The role requires state certification, DOJ/FBI clearance, and eligibility to work in the United States. NASP certification is preferred; benefits include license reimbursement, tuition assistance, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Department of Education School Psychologist Certification in the state of service.
• Background check (DOJ/FBI or equivalent) clearance required.
• NASP certification preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse student populations in K–12 settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of cognitive, emotional, adaptive, and behavioral functioning using standardized tools.
• Translate assessment findings into actionable recommendations for students and teams.
• Develop and consult on IEPs/504 plans and lead or participate in IEP meetings with families and staff.
• Provide crisis support during school emergencies and offer staff training.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and prepare reports that meet legal and ethical standards.
