Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Physical Therapist (PT) for a part-time contract role in Framingham, MA. Duties include evaluating students and delivering therapy per the plan of care and physician orders, with documentation of services and progress.

Ideal candidate holds a current PT license in the state, has completed an accredited PT program, and has 1 year of experience preferred. Pay is $55 per hour with 30 hours weekly and school setting responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a PT in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
• One year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing student evaluations, as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with plan of care developed for each student and per physician’s orders when applicable.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy

Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice

One year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred
