Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel School Physical Therapist for a contract assignment in New Windsor, New York. The role runs for 37 weeks, with 32.5 hours per week and a 6.5-hour daily schedule (8:30am–3:30pm).

The candidate must hold a Doctoral or Master's in Physical Therapy, be licensed in NYS or eligible for licensure, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with wheelchairs. A NYS driver’s license is required.

A great School is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist / PT to join their growing team for a contract assignment!

• This is a contract position.
• 8:30am-3:30pm schedule.
• This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into their job performance.

Requirements include:

• Doctoral Degree or master’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited school.
• Licensed with NYS Department of Education, or eligible for licensure (temporary permit).
• Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push and pull students in wheelchairs, lift, bend, squat, turn in the knees, pivot and grasp with both hands (in order to properly and safely perform the techniques taught in CPR/First Aid, behavior intervention techniques, and lifting and carrying techniques), with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Valid NYS driver’s license deemed acceptable by our insurance carrier
