Job summary

Qualifications

• Proof of high school graduation or GED equivalent.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Flexible and able to adjust your daily routine.
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude.
• Physically able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must have one of the following: 48 hours of college credits, Associates or higher degree, or Competency on the CFISD proficiency test.

Responsibilities

• Help teacher prepare and adapt instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Help maintain a neat and orderly classroom.
• Assist students with disabilities according to their needs.
• Help manage behavior of students and intervene in crisis situations.
• Supervise students throughout the school day.
