Job summary

Delta-T Group Hartford, Inc. is seeking paraeducators to support students in West Hartford and surrounding towns for the 2026-2027 school year. These independent contractor roles offer flexible hours and opportunities in public, charter, magnet and private schools.

You will reinforce lessons, assist with activities, and monitor students across classrooms, lunchrooms, and events. A HS diploma, background check, and credentials determine compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of HS diploma.
• Must be able to complete and pass State (fingerprint) background check.
• Compensation is based on experience and credentials.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce classroom lessons, assist with daily activities, and provide one-on-one or small-group instruction
• Monitor students in the classroom, lunchroom, playground, and during school events.
• Prepare materials, manage classroom organization, and implement behavioral plans.
• Assist students with personal hygiene, mobility, and emotional needs.
