Job summary

Nassau County School District in Yulee, FL is seeking three paraprofessionals for Yulee Middle School to support instructional programs and student supervision. The positions are noninstructional vacancies for the 2026-2027 school year.

Salary ranges from $16.59 to $18.32 per hour. Millage-based add-on of $6,509 for 2026-27 will be prorated. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, typing speed, and computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent with two years of postsecondary study, or an Associate's degree or higher, or passed a rigorous examination demonstrating knowledge to assist in reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Typing at prescribed rate of speed.
• Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in preparing instructional materials and equipment.
• Assist the teacher in implementing classroom activities.
• Provide instructional assistance as planned or coordinated by the teacher or administrator.
• Provide student supervision as required by the teacher or administrator.
• Perform assigned clerical and bookkeeping duties.
• Compile required data and enter into the computer.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information.
