Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in Champaign, IL is seeking a school-based Occupational Therapist for an onsite contract role. You will evaluate students, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy in group or one-on-one settings to support educational goals.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff; document progress; and participate in IEP meetings. Illinois OT license required.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license required.
• Experience in a school setting preferred.
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and multidisciplinary teams.
• Adept at adapting therapeutic activities to meet a diverse range of student needs.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to assess therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to educational goals.
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services in group and one-on-one settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
• Document evaluation findings, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely and compliant manner.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in the planning process.
