Stellar Therapy Services in Chattanooga, TN seeks an Occupational Therapist for a school setting. You will provide therapy services to children with disabilities, evaluate needs, and develop treatment plans to improve coordination, motor skills, and participation in daily activities.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy with state licensure or certification. Experience in a school environment is highly desirable, and you will collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Licensed/certified in the state of practice.
• Experience in a school setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of children with disabilities, identifying needs and developing treatment plans.
• Develop personalized treatment plans addressing physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges in daily life.
• Provide individual and group therapy to enhance coordination, motor skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Incorporate assistive technology and adaptive equipment into treatment plans as needed.
• Track progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve goals.
• Participate in team meetings and stay current with professional development.
