Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a local contract School Occupational Therapist in Jonesboro, Georgia to support student participation across grade levels.

The role involves evaluating needs, developing treatment plans, implementing evidence-based interventions, collaborating with teachers and families, and documenting outcomes to support IEP goals.

This position offers a 40-hour week over the school calendar, 41 weeks, active Georgia OT license, and school-based experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Georgia Occupational Therapist License.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services that promote student participation and success across a variety of grade levels and educational settings.
• Evaluate student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, implement evidence-based interventions, and support IEP goals.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom and support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation, monitor student outcomes, and participate in required meetings and evaluations.
