Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a School Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Kent, WA. This contract - full time position pays $43 per hour and requires 37.50 hours per week, with supervision by an Occupational Therapist in a school setting.

Qualifications

Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides occupational therapy services including treatment, implementation, standardized assessment data, and documentation to students in the school setting.

Minimum Requirements

• Current certification or licensure as an OccupationalTherapy Assistant in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational TherapyAssistant required
• One (1) year of experience as an Occupational TherapyAssistant preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
