Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to support elementary and middle school students in a single campus near Auburn, WA for the 2026/2027 academic year. This full-time contract position involves providing high-quality OT services to approximately 41 students, collaborating with teachers and families to promote growth.

You will assess, plan, and implement therapy, monitor progress, participate in IEP meetings, and deliver evidence-based interventions addressing fine motor

Qualifications

• Current OT license for the state of Washington.
• Experience delivering OT services in school settings preferred.
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, develop goals, and implement individualized therapy plans for students in both elementary and middle school.
• Work onsite, partnering with teachers and special education teams to integrate therapy into students' daily routines.
• Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings.
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation.
• Support students in reaching their fullest potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
