Job summary

Soliant is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support a school-based program on a contract basis in North Dakota. You'll work closely with students and education staff to help learners gain independence and success within the daily school environment.

Ideal candidates hold a ND OT license, a master’s degree, and experience in K-12 settings; you will design intervention plans, participate in IEPs, and educate families on strategies to foster student progress.

Qualifications

• Valid occupational therapy license in North Dakota (or eligibility).
• Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• Prior experience in a K-12 educational setting is strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of IEPs and ability to contribute effectively to student planning teams.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt therapeutic activities to meet a variety of needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with educational staff and families.
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings.
• Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support to students and classroom staff.
• Educate faculty and families about strategies and accommodations for student success.
• Stay current with best practices and professional education in school-based occupational therapy.
