Job summary

Soliant is seeking a licensed School-based Occupational Therapist for a full-time role in Encinitas, CA, supporting 5 middle/high schools with a caseload of about 43 students across various programs. Some students are in consultation-only services.

The position requires a California OT license with pediatrics/schools experience preferred. Pay is $52–$62 per hour on a W-2 basis, plus health, vision, dental, 401(k) matching and paid sick leave.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate referred students and conduct periodic assessments.
• Determine if new students are eligible for services and write reports.
• Develop therapy plans and IEP goals based on evaluations.
• Provide interventions aligned with IEP goals.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and other staff and medical professionals.
• Manage and perform minor repairs to OT equipment and supplies.
• Ensure compliant documentation of treatment logs and progress.

Calling on licensed Occupational Therapists based in Encinitas, CA! Soliant has partnered with a school district and is seeking a full-time OT for this school year.

The applicant will be working with 5 middle/high schools, and carry a caseload of about 43 students. Students are enrolled in a variety of programs, from non-traditional academic programs to general education settings. A portion of the students are on consultations only.

As a School-based Occupational Therapist, The Candidate Will

• Evaluate newly referred students and conduct periodic assessments of current students
• Determine if new students are eligible for services; write reports to communicate findings to staff and families
• Develop a therapy plan and IEP goals in accordance with evaluation results
• Provide appropriate interventions in line with IEP goals
• Consult with teachers, parents, other staff members and private based medical professionals
• Manage and make minor repairs to various OT equipment and supplies
• Ensure compliant documentation of treatment logs and student progress
