Job summary

IREDELL-STATESVILLE SCHOOLS is seeking a Child Nutrition Substitute to support daily meal service and kitchen operations within the district. The role requires adherence to CN policies, sanitation procedures, and scheduled tasks set by the CN Manager or PIC, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing on concrete for long periods.

• Comply with Iredell Statesville Schools & Child Nutrition Policies.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures.
• Follow work schedules and cleaning schedules as assigned by CN Mgr. or PIC.
• Substitutes must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand on concrete surfaces for long periods.
• Perform tasks such as cleaning, sweeping, mopping, working the dishroom & putting up stock.
• Help with food prep and serving student meals.
• Cashiering or computer skills are a plus
