Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred 1–3 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend work regularly and punctually.
• Arrange food and beverages for serving to students and staff.
• Stock food, condiments and supplies to maintain adequate quantities.
• Attend meetings, trainings and workshops for required information.
• Maintain sanitary conditions in utensils, equipment and serving areas.
• Cook food from scratch to meet nutritional and projected meal requirements.
• Implement menu plans to meet students' nutritional needs.
• Inspect foods and supplies to verify quantity, quality and health standards.
• Inventories to ensure availability of items for menu requirements.
• Maintain sanitary kitchen and cafeteria areas and monitor safe working environment.
• Perform other nutritional services duties as needed by supervisor.
• Prepare food and beverages to meet nutritional targets.
