Fort Zumwalt R-2 School District, North Middle School, Ofallon, Missouri, is seeking a Cook to join our school nutrition team. This full-time position reports to the Principal/Kitchen Manager and requires ServSafe certification or ability to obtain it.

Starting date is immediate, with a nine-month employment term and a salary of $15.55 per hour. The Cook will assist with meal service, food preparation, and maintaining clean and safe kitchen areas in accordance with USDA NSLP guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated aptitude for the successful performance of the tasks listed and must possess a ServSafe Certification or be able to obtain the certification within a timely manner.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and serve the food as directed by the supervisor and outlined on the provided menu cycle.
• Maintain assigned duty schedule as directed by the supervisor.
• Clean equipment after each meal and store unused food items in the proper manner, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Keep the food preparation and food storage areas in a clean, organized, and workable fashion at all times.
• Communicate job-related concerns or suggestions for improvement to the supervisor, Director, or Assistant Director of Student Nutrition Services.
• Complete continuing education as directed by SNS office to remain in compliance with USDA guidelines for the NSLP.
