Whitsons Nutrition Services is hiring a Food Service Worker for Greater Rutland Proctor High School in Rutland, VT. You will help prepare, portion, and serve healthy meals to students and staff, following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, inviting serving area.

The role offers Monday–Friday hours with no nights or weekends, a school-year schedule, and on-the-job training. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour, with opportunities for growth within the program.

Qualifications

• Completion of Whitsons and government-mandated training as required.
• Experience preferred but not required; training provided on the job.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and serve meals to students and staff.
• Set up and clean serving stations and kitchen areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Create a positive and welcoming mealtime experience for students and staff.
• Work as part of a fun, energetic team.
