Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey, in good standing.
• Experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred.
• Strong assessment, triage, and communication skills.
• Ability to create a caring and safe environment for children.
• Proficiency with health documentation and electronic recordkeeping.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to students and staff as needed.
• Conduct routine screenings (vision, hearing, immunization compliance).
• Monitor and manage chronic conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes).
• Administer first aid and respond to emergencies appropriately.
• Support health education initiatives for students and faculty.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents regarding student health plans.
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with privacy regulations.
