Job summary

South Kitsap School District is seeking a Substitute Certificated School Nurse to cover absent school nurses across the district. The roleReportsTo the Building Principal and operates within the Office of Special Services in Port Orchard, Washington.

Beginning as a substitute RN, you will provide health services, maintain required documentation, and participate in the district’s commitment to safe, inclusive student care. The position offers per diem pay and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• BS in Nursing and WA RN License required.
• Ability to obtain WA ESA Nurse Certificate and CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Completed application with three professional references (supervisors).
• Unofficial transcripts required; official transcripts upon offer.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for absent school nurses throughout the district.
• Coordinate with the Building Principal and Office of Special Services.
• Ensure health services are delivered in compliance with district policies.
