Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a compassionate School Nurse (RN) to provide medical care for students in Fresno, CA during the 2023-2024 school year. Responsibilities include screenings, first aid, medication administration, and health education in a school setting.

Qualifications

• California State RN license required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Current Negative TB test result required.
• Physical demands describe; ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conducting student hearing and vision screenings.
• Educating students on hygiene and safety practices.
• Dispensing prescription medications to students per physician instructions.
• Verifying vaccination records.
• Taking students’ temperatures when fever is suspected.
• Administering first aid and CPR.
• Treating minor injuries such as cuts, scrapes and bruises.
• Contacting parents when students are ill or injured.
