Job summary

Astrocare Home Healthcare is hiring Registered Nurses and LVNs to support Houston ISD students across multiple campuses. This full-time daytime role offers Monday–Friday shifts with no nights or weekends, and a school holiday schedule.

The position focuses on providing skilled nursing care, medication administration, and collaboration with school staff to ensure student health and safety.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RN or LVN license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Home Health, Pediatrics, or School Nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to assigned students during the school bus routes.
• Monitor and assess students' health needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Respond to medical needs and emergencies as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and healthcare providers.
