Job summary

The nurse will work to assess and manage chronic health conditions, administer first aid and medications, and maintain confidential health records while ensuring compliance with laws and district policies.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, reliable, and committed to children’s well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and manage students with chronic health conditions.
• Administer first aid, medications, and emergency care when needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records for students.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, as well as district health policies.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding students’ health concerns, treatments, and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and staff to support student wellness and academic success.
