Responsibilities

• Assess health status and perform first aid and emergency care according to district guidelines.
• Administer medication and treatments as directed.
• Assess health of students through screenings and facilitate referrals.
• Promote health and well-being through teaching and counseling.
• Develop Individual Health/Emergency Plans for students with special needs.
• Maintain health records for all students.
• Examine and readmit students for health reasons per procedures.
• Train and supervise volunteers/staff in health services.
• Serve as a health education resource to faculty.
