RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a School Nurse (RN) for positions across all five NYC boroughs (Staten Island, Manhattan, The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens). The role focuses on student health, administering care, managing conditions, and responding to emergencies.

Requirements include current New York State RN license, BLS, COVID-19 vaccination, and at least one year of RN experience; pediatric experience preferred. Per diem, full-time or part-time options with comprehensive benefits.

• Must have current BLS/CPR card, Malpractice Insurance, and Physical.
• Full medical clearance including COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Providing basic medical care.
• Treating minor injuries and illnesses.
• Administering medications prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Managing emergencies such as asthma attacks, allergic reactions, seizures, or injuries.
• Supporting students with diabetes, asthma, epilepsy, ADHD, and other conditions.
• Creating and monitoring individualized healthcare plans.
• Keeping confidential medical documentation.
• Recording treatments and incidents.
• Informing parents about health concerns or emergencies.
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and healthcare providers.

School Nurse (RN) All Boroughs – Year-Round Openings

CompensationHourly Rate: $65-$75 hourly
Locations: (all 5 boroughs) Staten Island, Manhattan, The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens.

Position Summary

A school nurse supports the physical, mental, and emotional health of students by providing medical care, managing chronic conditions, and responding to health emergencies. They also promote wellness, maintain health records, and work with families and school staff to ensure students are healthy and ready to learn.

Responsibilities

Schedule/Shift:

• Year-round opportunities available; positions open throughout the school year
• Full-time | Part-time | Per Diem
• All shifts available (School Day hours)

Key Duties

• Providing basic medical care
• Treating minor injuries and illnesses

• Good communication, organization, problem-solving, empathy, and teamwork skills to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and healthcare providers.
