Job summary

Ro Health is hiring a licensed RN to work with schools across New York State for the 2025-26 school year. This per diem role offers a flexible schedule, competitive pay, and opportunities to develop credentials. You will manage student health needs and coordinate with teachers and parents in the school setting.

Start date ASAP in Dutchess County; relocation is required. Ro Health provides benefits, PTO, and 24/7 administrative and clinical support to providers.

Qualifications

• NY state RN license required
• CPR/BLS certification
• TB negative test on file

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
• Monitor immunization records to ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status and follow-up care.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods; may bend, crouch, and lift up to 40 pounds
