Job summary

Carey Baptist College invites a qualified Registered Nurse (0.6 FTE) to join our Harrisdale Campus, supporting students from Kindergarten to Year 12. You will provide high-quality nursing care, first aid and emergency response across ages, while developing health plans and promoting wellbeing.

Working within the Student Services team, you will maintain confidential health records, collaborate with families, school leaders and external health professionals, and educate staff on medication

Qualifications

• RN with current registration with NMBA.
• Experience in paediatrics or school nursing preferred.
• Proven ability to manage confidential health information.
• Excellent communication with students, families and staff.
• Commitment to Christian values and school community.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, first aid and emergency response for K–12 students.
• Develop and review individual healthcare management plans.
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records.
• Collaborate with parents, school leaders and health professionals.
• Educate staff on health needs, medications and emergency procedures.
