Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides temporary and emergency care to ill or injured students.
• Evaluates students' health and developmental status through health assessments.
• Administers immunizations, disease control measures, and exclusions for noncompliance.
• Dispenses, monitors, and records medications for students; coordinates with physicians and parents.
• Provides health counseling for students, families, and staff to promote well-being.
• Serves on the Health Services Team to develop health components of education plans.
