Germantown Friends School is seeking a qualified school nurse to provide medical care for students and staff on a twelve-month schedule. The role includes evaluating illnesses per established nurse protocols, maintaining health records, and coordinating with caregivers, athletics, and faculty to ensure safe school operations.
The nurse will monitor medicine inventory, track communicable diseases, and support emergency plans such as Epipen and inhaler administration while working autonomously and
Requires standing, sitting, repetitive hand and body movements, simple grasping, pushing, pulling, fine motor and gross motor skills, bending, lifting, squatting, kneeling, climbing, and reaching. Ability to lift students as required and the stamina to stand all day as needed.
Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., with flexibility to work during various weekend and evening school events. This is a twelve-month position.
