Wiscasset Middle High School (WMHS) is seeking a fulltime school nurse to join its team. The School nurse is a pivotal member of the student support team at WMHS. We offer an environment focused on growth and change for all learners and consider every staff member an important part of achieving that goal. Qualified candidates will have experience dealing with a wide range of medical conditions and triage. Applicants should be experienced with electronic recordkeeping for all students and knowledgeable about all relevant State and DOE Requirements/Guidelines. School nurse experience is preferred, but candidates with an affinity for working with children in grades 6-12 and recent graduates will be considered. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must.

This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found. RN certification preferred; LPN certification considered. All candidates must successfully complete a background check through the Maine Department of Education.
