The Kingdom East School District is seeking a full‑time, 100% full‑time equivalent (FTE) School Nurse assigned to Miller’s Run School. The role focuses on facilitating positive student responses to normal development, promoting health and safety, intervening with actual and potential health problems, providing case management services, and collaborating to build student and family capacity for adaptation, self‑management, self‑advocacy, and learning. Responsibilities include planning and preparing the school’s health‑related instruction and programming, creating an environment of health and wellness, delivering nursing services, and health and wellness classroom instruction. The nurse integrates health and wellness knowledge and skills throughout the curriculum based on pediatric, community health, emergency, adult, and mental health nursing. A background check, including fingerprinting, is required upon employment.
