POSITION STATUS:

Full time, 10 Month position/7.75 hrs. per day

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS:

The work involves performing non-teaching duties in overseeing student activities during regular school session and after hours in a suburban school district. This is work of ordinary difficulty, involving the responsibility of assisting teachers and administrators by performing assigned routine tasks, including the supervision and care of children. The incumbent must be firm, but courteous and congenial in exercising their influence on students. Work is performed under the direct supervision of a principal, teacher or school administrator. Does related work as required.
