Job summary

Vista Student Services in California partners with school districts to provide counseling and psychoeducational assessments for students with IEPs. You will work 1–2 days a week on-site, providing counseling at school sites and collaborating with teachers, case managers and parents as part of the IEP team.

The ideal candidate holds LMFT/LCSW/LPCC/LEP or PPS credential in school counseling/psychology, with AMFT/ASW/APCC registration welcome, and experience with students who have IEPs.

Qualifications

Job description

Vista Student Services is a new nonpublic agency (NPA) approved by the California Department of Education. We partner with school districts to provide counseling and psychoeducational assessments for students with IEPs.

What the work looks like

• 1 to 2 days a week to start, with room to grow
• Individual and group counseling at school sites
• Working with teachers, case managers and parents as part of the IEP team
• Keeping service logs and writing progress notes on IEP goals

Who we're looking for

• LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, LEP or licensed psychologist, or a PPS credential in school counseling or school psychology
• Registered AMFTs, ASWs and APCCs are welcome to apply
• Experience with students who have IEPs
• Someone who enjoys working with students, has a positive, problem-solving attitude, and wants to stay and grow with a small agency

Pay

• $100 per hour of counseling
• $50 per hour of drive time, including to and from home and between school sites
• Flexible schedule within school hours

Vista was founded by Jake Randall, M.S., NCSP, a Licensed Educational Psychologist with 15 years of experience in Bay Area schools. You'll work directly with me, the school IEP teams, and the students.
