Job summary

Campus Services Group is seeking a School Maintenance Technician for the day shift at our Greenwich, CT location. You will perform general maintenance to keep school facilities in excellent condition and support a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities include repairs, event setup, outdoor winter tasks, and on-call duties. Must have 3+ years of maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license. CMMS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of maintenance or building trades experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds and work from ladders.
• Experience with CMMS software.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain school buildings and facilities.
• Perform general maintenance using carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, appliance repair, and electrical wiring.
• Complete set-ups and tear-downs for scheduled campus events.
• Operate and maintain tools used in maintenance and repair of building facilities.
• Perform on-call duties as needed/assigned.
• Remove snow with shovels, blowers, and plows when necessary.
• Provide logistical support for campus activities, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist with fire drills, lockdowns, and other safety exercises.
• Help manage traffic flow and parking on campus.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate

USD $25.00 - USD $30.00 /Hr.

• Flexible, friendly, with good communication and time management skills.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds, work from ladders, and perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and crawling.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and walk long distances across campus.
• Experience in CMMS software program(s)
• Requires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching
• Requires climbing and balancingMust work in and around dust, fumes, and odors.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
