Job summary

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking licensed vocational nurses (LVNs) to support students in school settings for the 2026-2027 year across multiple districts.

The LVN will provide nursing services, administer medications, monitor health, and collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to promote student health and academic success. Opportunities include full-time, part-time, and per diem across a 2026-27 calendar.

Qualifications

• Current California LVN license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification (if applicable).
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• School-based and/or pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Current TB clearance (Questionnaire, PPD, or Chest X-Ray, if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services and health support to students throughout the school day.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders and policy.
• Monitor student health conditions and respond to illnesses, injuries, and emergencies.
• Assist with health plans including IEPs, 504 Plans, and IHPs.
• Support students with chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, or allergies.
