Brandon Board of Education in Brandon, MI is seeking a Long Term Sub - Kitchen Assistant contracted through Edustaff to support the high school cafeteria. The role supports daily lunch preparation, serving lines, and stock rotation with duties assigned by the Food Services Director.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 8:45 am to 12:45 pm for 8–12 weeks, starting in mid-November 2026. Compensation is $13.75 per hour through Edustaff, with the district committing to non-discrimination in

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Pleasant, tactful and able to represent the District in a positive manner.
• Able to follow directions, plan tasks, and work independently.
• Able to work cooperatively and effectively with co-workers, students and District staff.

Responsabilités

• Prepare food for serving including fruits, salads and condiments.
• Prepare the serving line.
• Serve lunches, collect money and keep lines stocked.
• Clean-up of kitchen, serving area, storerooms and lunchrooms as needed.
• Check, rotate and put away stock.
• Work primarily at the High School, with possible assistance at other buildings.
• Any and all other duties as assigned by the director/designee.
