Wadsworth City Schools is seeking a part-time Support Staff - Food Service/Cafeteria Helper for Valley View Elementary School. The role runs 3.0 hours daily (10:30a–1:30p) across 184 contracted days, with pay rates of $15.08–$19.53 per hour.

Candidates should be prepared to assist with lunchroom operations and adhere to district standards. The position requires a valid driver’s license, being at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with institutional cooking.
• Good health, high moral character, and good attendance.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Able to organize lunchroom procedures.
• Professional tact and diplomacy with administrators, staff, teachers, students, parents, and the community.
• Qualifications may be determined by interview.
• Board of Education may determine other criteria as appropriate.
