Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a K-12 Utility Worker for a Stewartville school. This day-hour position offers guaranteed hours with no nights or weekends, and duties include dishwashing, floor cleaning, and maintaining sanitary conditions.

You will follow food safety guidelines, pass a background check, and join a supportive team that provides uniforms, PPE, training, and opportunities for advancement while delivering a safe, lunch-providing environment.

Qualifications

• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work in standing position for long periods of time.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Follows food safety requirements and guidelines.
• Self-starter that can work independently.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine
• Sweep and mop floors, by hand or with machine as needed
• Wash tables walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas Maintain clean work environment
• Assists other team members as needed
• Be on time
• Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition
• Maitain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code
• Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team
